Theresa S. Walicki

Theresa (Salvatore) Walicki, 95, of Wethersfield, beloved wife for 47 years of the late Henry E. Walicki, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2020. Born in Hartford on April 9, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Philomena (Monacchio) Salvatore. Theresa worked for the City of Hartford Town Clerks Office and later for the State of CT Department of Transportation for many years. She was a former communicant and a catechism teacher of Christ the King Parish (Corpus Christi Church). Theresa was a loving and caring woman who will be missed by all who knew her.

Theresa was sadly predeceased by both her sons, Henry E. Walicki, Jr. and Thomas J. Walicki and her brother, James Salvatore, sisters Dolores Cwikla Elaine Duszyk. She is survived by her sister, Mary Cormier of Myrtle Beach, SC; G. Joan Malinowski, four adored grandchildren, Ryan, Damon, Justin and Christopher and one cherished great-grandchild Haley as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Burial at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford will be private. Donations in Theresa’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
