Vicki Girard (Steiner)

Vicki (Steiner) Girard, 46, of East Windsor, formerly of Rocky Hill, passed away Tuesday (December 28, 2010) at home. She was born July 25, 1964 in Hartford, Connecticut the daughter of Raymond T. Steiner of Manchester and the late Lynne (Russell) Steiner. She was a graduate of Rocky Hill High School and had attended hairdressing school and graduated from a real estate principal and practices course. She enjoyed gardening, was artistic, her favorite color was purple and she loved riding on a Harley on a nice sunny day. Besides her father, Vicki is survived by her two sons, Peter W. Girard III and Jesse R. Girard; her niece, Ashley Lynne Steiner of New Britain, her great-nephew, Omar Irizary, Jr, of New Britain, a cousin, Nickola J. Cunha of Wallingford and her goddaughter, Cherokee Ghere of Wallingford. Besides her mother, she was predeceased by her brother, Richard Steiner and her sister, Kimberly Ruffo. She is also survived by many other extended family members and friends. Vicki is loved dearly and will be missed by all who knew her. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, (January 7) from 4-7 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield.
