

Victoria Ann DeMartino, 83, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 27th, 2024 at the Atrium of Rocky Hill, surrounded by her loving family. Born on November 19th, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York, she is the daughter of the late Julia Martinelli-Castellano.
Victoria was a graduate of Regina Pacis School in New York. After raising her family, she began her career as an Administrative Assistant for the State of Connecticut Ombudsman Program. She was a devout Catholic and a dedicated parishioner of the Church of the Incarnation in Wethersfield. Victoria was also a proud member of the Red Hat Society, where she enjoyed the company of many friends. Most of all, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Victoria never missed a single dance recital or sporting event and was always their biggest fan.
Victoria is the beloved mother of Diana O’Leary and her husband Robert of Wethersfield, John DeMartino of Rocky Hill, and Ronnie DeMartino and his wife Isabel of East Hampton; the cherished grandmother of Megan and Michael O’Leary, and Nicole, Jenna, Olivia, Ava, and Julian DeMartino; the sister of Diane Roselli of Florida and Camille Kristensen of Newington. Victoria was predeceased by her brother Nicholas Castellano. Victoria’s family would also like to share a special thank you to her dedicated caregivers, Tracy Keaton and Stephanie Grant, as well as the caring staff at the Atrium.
Victoria’s family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, April 8th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield. The public will meet us directly at church for a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, April 9 at 11:30 a.m. at the Church of Incarnation, 544 Prospect Street, Wethersfield.
