Victoria Lombardi

Victoria C. “Vicki” Lombardi, 98, of Rocky Hill, (formerly of Wethersfield), passed away peacefully at her home on August 7, 2026. Victoria, also lovingly known as “Billie” to her close family and friends was predeceased by her loving husband Ralph A. Lombardi, her sister and best friend Genevive A. Genva, her 7 brothers and sisters as well as her parents Victor E. and Gaetana (Scalora) Camilleri.

Vicki is survived by her nephew Victor E. Camilleri, II and his wife Georgia of South Carolina, niece Anna Maria (Camilleri) Fornino of Newington and three generations of nieces and nephews. Her family would like to recognize with appreciation the outstanding efforts and devotion of Victoria’s longtime personal caregiver Jasmine.

A lifelong resident of Wethersfield until her final years at Masonicare of Rocky Hill, any excursion around town with Vicki became a social event. She would always run into someone she recognized; Vicki was widely known by many throughout the community. Vicki worked her entire career at the Connecticut Bank and Trust Company, retiring as Assistant Treasurer. Following her retirement, she devoted her time as a volunteer for the Wethersfield Historical Society. She was also a member of the Westbrook Elks and CT River Museum in Essex.

Vicki loved dancing, traveling and especially spending summers at the family cottage in Old Lyme. She truly enjoyed visiting and socializing with everyone she met. Vicki prided herself on her appearance, she was an attractive woman, a true fashionista and always ready for her “Kodak moment”.

Vicki was blessed with a long life, and she enjoyed every moment of it. She was extremely proud of her heritage, devoted to her family and a dedicated and loyal friend.

She was generous with many charities, therefore, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Vicki’s memory to the charity of the donor’s choice.

A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Vicki’s life will be held on Monday, August 17th at 11:30 a.m. at Christ the King Parish at Corpus Christi Church, 600 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield. Burial will be private.
