Vincenzo Giannitti

Vincenzo Giannitti, beloved husband of Teodora 'Dora' Giannitti, of Rocky Hill, passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023. Vincenzo was born in San Mango Sul Calore, Province of Avellino, Italy and was son of the late Giuseppe and Anna (Marena) Giannitti. Vincenzo will be remembered for his special skills in carpentry, always lending a helping hand to anyone in need. He was a parishioner of St. James Church and member of the Mount Carmel Saint Cristina Society of Greater Hartford.

In addition to his wife Dora, he will also be dearly missed by his three sons, Joseph and his wife Debbie, Robert and his wife Carol and Enrico and his wife Jill. He is also survived by his four precious grandchildren, Kyle, Chase, Jack and Grace, his two sisters in Italy and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited for a time of visitation, Sunday, August 27, from 4-7 p.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 28, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Josephine Bakhita Parish at St. James Church, 767 Elm St., Rocky Hill. Entombment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
