Anna Diehl Furr

A daughter of the late Arthur and Rebecca Long Diehl, she was born on May 12, 1917 in Rockingham County. She lived most of her life in the Barren Ridge community in Augusta County. She was a member of Barren Ridge Church of the Brethren.

She married Harold Furr, who preceded her in death on Feburary 6, 1994. Surviving are three sons, Harold Furr and wife, Nada Neskovic, of Bridgewater, George C. Hill and wife, Rumiko, of Hampton, VA, and Wayne Hill of Harrisonburg; five granddaughters; two grandsons; six great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Lester Unger of PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by six sisters and two brothers.

Friends may view and sign the guest book after 12 noon on Friday, Nov. 8th at the Lindsey Weyers Cave Funeral Home where the family will receive friends later that evening from 7:00 until 8:00 pm.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013 at 1:00 pm at the Barren Ridge Church of the Brethren with Rev. Galen Combs and Rev. Curtis Coffman officiating. Private burial will be in the church cemetery.
