
Mrs. Blosser was born in Harrisonburg, VA, on March 6, 1922 and was the daughter of the late Raymond Eli and Lovena (Dorsey) Lambert.
On December 18, 1943 she married Glendon L. “Dick” Blosser, who preceded her in death on April 10, 1999.
She was a home maker, dedicated mother and longtime member and avid volunteer at Massanutten Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Blosser enjoyed reading, painting, creating stories and caring for her beloved grandchildren.
She is survived by three children; a son, Gary and wife Crystal Blosser of Weyers Cave, VA, two daughters; Gail Oppy and husband Jim of Port Republic, Jill Blosser and fiancé Dexter Steele of Shenandoah; two sisters-in-law, Marie Hensley of Grottoes and Isabelle Price of McGaheysville; six grandchildren; Starr Land and husband Sean of Virginia Beach, VA, Shae Powell or Harrisonburg, James Blosser and wife Sheri, Brandi Lane and husband Jayson all of Weyers Cave, Stephanie Dean of Harrisonburg; and Clay Daugherty of Shenandoah; eight great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and five step great-grandchildren.
In addition to her spouse and her parents, Mrs. Blosser was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Raymond and toddler Lawrence Lambert of Harrisonburg; two sisters, Blanche Cosgrove, Cumberland, MD and Frances (A. L. “Dick”) Strawderman, Lacy Springs, VA.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 5:30 Sunday afternoon, Feb. 26, at the Lindsey Weyers Cave Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Feb. 27, at 11 a.m. at the Massanutten Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.
