He was born on October 12, 1947, in Washington, DC, and was the son of the late Harry L. Davis, Sr. and Madeline E. Dulaney.
Harry lived in Northern Virginia until 2008 when he moved to Keezletown where he resided for three years, he then moved to Staunton where he has lived for 15 years. He was a server in the food service industry for 30 years before retiring. He enjoyed watching all types of sports especially the Washington Redskins.
He is survived by two sisters, Francie Davis (Tom) of Seaford, Delaware and Sherri Stanhope (Alan) of Tennessee; numerous nieces and nephews; and a brother-in-law, Joseph Shipe of Keezletown.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Davis and a sister, Sandra Shipe.
Honoring his wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no services.
