Herbert Allen Hoffman

Herbert Allen Hoffman, 38, of Weyers Cave, passed away on October 12, 2014 at his home. He was born on February 18, 1976 in Belleville, New Jersey, and is the son of Viola C. Balunis Hoffman of Weyers Cave, and the late Herbert A. Hoffman. Herbert was a US Navy Veteran and had been employed with SRI. In addition to his mother, he is survived by sisters, Caroline Hoffman of Weyers Cave, Christine Smith and husband, John of Elkton; a brother, Arthur Kender III of Lake Panorama, NJ; and numerous aunts and uncles. The family will receive friends 10 am to 11 am on Friday, October 17, 2014, at the Lindsey Funeral Home in Weyers Cave. A graveside service at St. Paul Cemetery in Weyers Cave, will follow the visitation with Father Silvio Kaberia officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Harrisonburg, VA 22802. Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.lindseyweyerscave.com.
