More than a year has passed and the many 'firsts' when he was no longer calling or sending a card. I still have a couple of short voice messages from him on my phone, which can make me think he is still here... for a moment. It's okay that the guest book is closing... it might help bring reality into this loss. Miss you, Little Jimmie Walker.

I offer my condolences on Jim passing away.  We go back a very long way.   Many evenings we would sing in harmony some of the old songs around at the time. I enjoyed  his visit with us at the 50+ annual reunion luncheon at Falls Church High a few years ago.  Rest in piece Jim.

As you know, Jim was part of the Nags Head gang who spent many weeks fishing, laughing, eating wonderful food and sipping a few adult beverages together. The beach stories are plentiful and some are hilarious. Jim was a very special person and his optimistic spirit and laughter will always remain with me.

Susan, Greg and families, plus all of Jim's many friends: One thing that my dear friend Jim has left to all of us is a wealth of wonderful memories, always with his extra helping of love. He burst with pride when he spoke of his children and grandchildren. He loved to laugh, he sometimes cried, and he truly enjoyed so much of life, with gratitude and great faith in God. May Jim rest in peace, and may all of you be blessed with beautiful thoughts, knowing you were truly loved by Jim.
