Obituary of Larry Douglas Adams
Larry Douglas Adams, 74, a resident of Weyers Cave passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022 at his home. He was born on November 7, 1947 in Keokuk, Iowa and was the son of the late Jack Rudolph and Viola Beatrice Chadwick Adams. Larry was a member of the Harley Owners Group #3126 and loved riding his Harley. He enjoyed organizing the group rides they took. On October 10, 2020, he married Gail Noonan Adams, who survives. He is also survived by his children, Misty Meza (Miguel) of Weyers Cave, Sandra Buchanan of Fishersville, Bryan D. Adams of Galesburg, IL and Elliott Noonan (Myles) of Dallas, TX; his grandchildren, Karina and Jacob Meza, Hunter and Morgan Hughes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a wife, Enola Adams; and a sister, Linda Adams. Honoring his wishes, he will be cremated and a memorial service will be held 11 am, Friday, February 18, 2022, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Waynesboro. A visitation will be held 6-8 pm, Thursday, February 17, 2022, at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church Building Fund, 301 Sheppard Ct., Waynesboro, VA 22980.
