Lena Catherine (Sheets) Robertson

She was born on September 24, 1929, in Mt. Sidney and was the daughter of the late Edgar R. and Lagretta (Wine) Sheets.

Lena was a graduate of Mt. Sidney High School. She worked for Drs. Painter, Carter and Hanna for many years at Ft. Defiance, before retiring. She enjoyed shopping and flowers. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Thomas D. Robertson and Charles E. Robertson; two special friends, Frank Taylor and Charlie Baker; a sister, Janet Lee Gibson; and two stepchildren, Charlotte Lucas and Tom Robertson.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews, Tammy Perry (Ron), Debra Berrington (Mike), Patty Borden (Jack), Keith Robertson, Becky Jenkins (Sonny) and Cathy Terry (Nelson); many great and great-great nieces and nephews; and many cousins.

The family would like to express great appreciation to Augusta Health, UVA Hospital, Summitt Square, Brookdale and Legacy Hospice for their excellent care.

A graveside service will be held 11 am, Thursday, August 28, 2025, at Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery, with Pastor Derek Boggs officiating. The casket will remain closed.
