William "Bill" Ray Hoover

Bill was born on August 07, 1945, at home in Sugar Grove, WV. Bill resided in Sugar Grove with his parents William W. Hoover “Pap” and Lou Ella Hoover; and his sister Elaine Rexrode and brother Bruce Hoover.

Following Bill’s High School Graduation in 1963, Bill moved to Maryland to begin his career in the construction field. Bill continued in the construction field raising his family until he retired in 2012.

Bill met Linda at Franklin High School, and the two married on March 29, 1963. They recently celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Hoover; his sister, Elaine Rexrode; brother Bruce Hoover and his wife, Barbara; his son, Ricky Hoover and his wife, Joanne; son, Greg Hoover and his wife, Gayle; son, Fred Hoover and his wife, Tracy; six grandchildren Callie, Cory, Kristin, Billy, Brittney, and Nick; and currently seven great grandchildren.

Though Bill has departed this world, his love for his family, friends, and golf will continue to inspire all of those who were fortunate to know him.
