Alice Emila Parsons

Parsons, Alice Emila – Age 93, passed away June 10th, 2013 at home in Yarmouth with family by her side. Born and raised in New Edinburgh, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Mary-Ann MacCormick. Alice had a love for all animals; she loved to garden, play checkers, watch wrestling, sing and dance. She enjoyed a cup of tea and chocolate. She cherished her family and will be greatly missed by daughters, Dorothy Ella Ossinger, Rose Marrie Ossinger, Linda Ann Fevens; son, Joseph, Alexander “Sandy”, Charlie; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband, Walter Carl Parsons; son, Larry; grandsons, Jessie and Cole Parsons; sister, Gladys; brothers, Arthur, Alec, Carl and her twin brother Willard. Funeral Service took place June 14th at Jayne’s Funeral Home, Digby (245-2525). Pastor Paul Parks presided. Interment in St. Peters Anglian Cemetery, Weymouth North.
