Gerald Alvin Prime passed away at the General & Marine Hospital, Collingwood, ON, on Monday, December 25th, 2017, at the age of 81 years. Gerald, beloved husband of the late Winnifred (nee Manzer) for 41 years. Loving father of Michael and his wife Rachelle and Timothy and his wife Vitania. Proud grandfather of Zoette and Erben. Dear brother of the late Forrest and Sherman. Fondly remembered by nieces, nephews and his church family. Gerald was a life-long member of Southville Church of Christ, NS, where he was also served as a treasurer. Visitation will be held at Jayne’s Funeral Home, 5114 Highway No. 1, Weymouth, NS, (902) 245-2525 on Wednesday January 3, 2018, from 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday January 4th, 2018 at Southville Church of Christ, at 1 pm. Interment at Lakeside Cemetery, Havelock. Donations in Gerald's memory may be made to the Victoria Order of Nurses, the Heath and Stoke Foundation or charity of choice.
