Stella Saulnier

Sauliner, Stella age 86 , of Tideview Terrace, Conway, Digby Co. and formerly of Havelock, Digby Co. passed away peacefully on February 23, 2016 in Tideview Terrace. Born in Hillsdale, Digby Co. she was a daughter of the late Timothy and Irene (Gavel) Sullivan. Stella was a member of the Young at Heart Senior’s Group, Havelock, member of the New Tusket Baptist Church. She loved to cook for her family and was well known for her cooking and baking especially donuts and apple pies. She enjoyed playing cards , camping , bowling , and travelling. She also enjoyed entertaining her family and friends. Surviving are her daughters Faye (Chester) Mullen, Hassett; Joylene Gavel and Sandra Ford both of Havelock; Holly Manzer,, Tideview Terrace, Conway; sons Gordon (Betty) Saulnier, Aylesford; Wayne Saulnier, Kingston; Leon (Darlene) Saulnier, Lac Labiche, Alberta; Mark Saulnier , Windsor; Darren (Tabby) Saulnier, Lawrencetown; sisters Olive Amero, Plympton, Beverley (Bob) Bell, Barton; brothers Colonel Sullivan, Tideview Terrace, Conway; Genos (Gladys) Sullivan, Hilltown; 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence, daughter Susan, sisters Rita, Frances, Dora, Hilda in infancy, brothers Willard in infancy and grandson Michael. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9pm Monday, February 29 from Jayne’s Funeral Home, Weymouth North. (902-245-2525). A Celebration of Life service will be held 2pm Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at the New Tusket Baptist Church. Rev. Quincey Collins will officiate with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Hilltown Cross Rd.
