

Wilfred worked many different jobs in his lifetime. At the age of 14, he started working in the woods with his father. He also worked at a lumber camp at Fourth Lake. Throughout the years he worked in the woods. He spent some time apple picking in Berwick and in the United States. He was employed at Hillsdale and Brookside Fur Farms. He spent many seasons working as a herring roe cutter at Clare Fisheries before retiring.
Wilfred spent his spare time fishing, hunting, working around his home and yard, going for walks in the woods, and day trips with his family. Wilfred loved to take pictures of all the places he went, and write of his adventures in his journal. He loved being at home where he had his family and his animals around him.
Wilfred is survived by his loving wife Marion Viola Mullen (Hill), his children Trevor Mullen (Patti), Angela Manzer (Gerald), Tracy Mullen (Ruby), his grandchildren Alexander, Joshua, Cassidy, and Kerri; Also his brothers, Gordon, Chester, Arthur, Clarence Jr. and Curtis; sisters, Jenny, Mabel, and Edith, as well as many nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by his parents Clarence Mullen Sr. and Elda Mullen (Hill) as well as his brother Roland and infant sister Ruby.
