“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me: your rod and your staff comfort me.” Psalm 23:4 Christopher Neil Giroir went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 3, 2016. He was 29 years old, born on October 7, 1986. A native of White Castle, LA and a resident of Denver, CO, Christopher was a loving father, son, grandson, and friend. His welcoming smile was engaging and he had an incredibly loving heart. He was loved by many, and a stranger to no one. As a teenager and a young adult, Chris was a member of the White Castle Volunteer Fire Dept. He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout while he was a member of Troop 33. He attended Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic School, and Ascension Catholic Middle School. He was a 2005 graduate of St. John High School, and a December 2009 graduate of University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Growing up as a country boy and later moving to a big city, Chris never let go of his love of simple living and the great outdoors. He held wonderful memories of growing up in a small town with lifelong friends and relatives. Chris enjoyed being with family and friends, but most of all, his girls, Ella and Frannie. He adored his baby girl and she loved her Daddy. His precious Ella was indeed, Daddy’s girl. He was presently employed with JFW Corporation, and a past employee of: Wise Recycling, Colorado Salt Products, and SGS Petroleum Service Corporation.
