Dennis "Denny" P. Ourso was born in White Castle on Jan. 13, 1956. He passed away Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010, at the age of 54. He loved his family, the New York Yankees and the LSU Tigers. His survivors include his mother, Josephine "Toddie" Ourso; a daughter, Kasey and husband Scott Newman; a son, Michael Ourso; three sisters, Bobbie Cavalier, Debbie Bolt and husband Larry, and Judy Simmers; and a grandson, Jonah Rex Newman. Dennis was preceded in death by his father, George Ourso Sr.; brother, Georgie; and brother-in-law, Rudy Cavalier. A memorial service will be held at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in White Castle on Saturday, Sept. 11, at 10:30 a.m.
