Doicy Bouquet Zeringue

Doicy was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend. She was a devoted caregiver who always put the needs of others before her own, ensuring that everyone she loved was welcomed with a warm meal and a caring heart.

In her spare time, Doicy enjoyed hunting and taking pride in caring for her yard. Above all, she was a devoted Catholic who cherished her faith. She was a faithful parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and lovingly cared for her church community. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith touched the lives of many and will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

She is survived by her three children, Julie Sagona (David Sr.), Donald Zeringue (Ramona) and Thomas “Tommy” Zeringue (Tricia); five grandchildren, David Sagona Jr. (Sue), Leslie Zeringue Millien (Corey), Jonathan Zeringue, Alyssa Zeringue Jones (Cory) and Jeanne Zeringue Louque (Trevor); eight great grandchildren, Ashley Sagona Hebert, Kasie Sagona Chaisson (Justin), Georgia Millien, Giuliana Millien, Palmer Jones, Shepard Jones, Holland Jones, Rafe Louque and two great-great grandchildren, Pierce Hebert and Crew Chaisson.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Zeringue; one grandchild, Bryan Sagona; parents, Charles and Corrine Henry Bouquet and her six siblings, Pearly Gravois, Murly Delaune, Hazel Gravois, Ory Bouquet, Melvin Bouquet and Joseph “JC” Bouquet.

A visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home in White Castle, LA, on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, from 9am until Mass of Christian Bural at 11am at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in White Castle, LA. Interment to follow in the White Castle Mausoleum.
