James Homer Gueho Jr.

James “Junior” Gueho Jr. passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021. He was 87 years old and a resident of White Castle and a native or Morganza, La. He had a love and passion above no other for Rabbit hunting with Andrew and Zeke and the outdoors. He retired from La. Department of Wildlife and Fisheries with more than 25 years of service. Visitation will be at Ourso Funeral Home, 31885 La-1 White Castle, La. On Thursday, June 24, 2021 from 9am until religious service at 11 am. Interment in White Castle Cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Carolyn Hymel Gueho; Son, Marty Gueho and wife Jennifer; brother, E.L. Gueho; sister-in-law, Bobbie Comeaux and husband Edgar; grandchildren, Darren Gueho and wife Lanie, and Jake Crochet and fiance’ Nikki; great grandchildren, Ayden and Cohen Gueho and Kade and Jase Crochet; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A special thanks to Mary “Potsey” Landry for all the help she gave to him. He is preceded in death by his parents, Homer “Red” and Adele Andre Gueho; son, Eugene P.
