My thoughts and prayers are with each of you as you mourn the loss of your Dad. May all of the wonderful memories you all shared bring you peace and comfort.
Your Dad always looked after my Mom and Dad. They both thought so highly of him and appreciated the time he spent with them.
May God continue to hold you in the palm of His hand.

Mr. Jerry was a friendly Pharamist. He always gave me words of encouragement and cheered me on before and during track season at W.C.H.S. May God comfort his family as they lay Mr. Jerry to rest.

Raymond and Jerry were roommates at LSU so many years ago. They were both from White Castle and got along so well. After we got married and moved to Nola we visited home very often. We would always go for a visit with Jerry. I became friends with him too. I know he will be missed. Please accept my condolences.

I love going to his store and reading the comic books. Mr Jerry would let me just sit there for hours. My thought and prayers go out to the family

One of my lasting memories of Jerry was at his graduation ceremony. I remember him getting just about every award except HomeEc and he didn’t take that.
A wonderful man and So proud to call him cousin.
Condolences and prayers for the family.

Dear Janet, Greg and Ken,
I am so sorry to hear of your dad's death. Sadly, I will not be able to attend the service to honor him. I met your dad several years ago at the YMCA. We became friends quite easily and quickly despite our age difference. My Monday, Wednesday and Friday workouts were always more enjoyable because of my visits with him. I heard many stories of y'all and feel in some ways like I know each of you. Janet, I am a teacher as well and your dad often told me about your teaching experiences and about what a wonderful teacher you are. When I first met your dad, my two sons were teenagers and sometimes your dad would give me parenting advice along with each us sharing funny stories about our children. I, along with my husband, and one of my sons even stopped by his home one time. Jerry was so proud to show off all the pictures of you and his grandchildren. I am sure it is no surprise to you how many people loved and admired your dad. He could brighten up a room with his smile and his laugh. He had a wonderful way of making people feel special. I am no longer a member at the Y and have not had much recent contact with your dad. We kept in touch every now and again through a phone call or text. I sent your dad a text the Saturday before Easter to let him know I had ridden through White Castle and how it always makes me think of him. He did not mention anything about being ill. I am sorry I did not know of his declining health. Please know I am grateful he is no longer suffering and is reunited with your mom. I will be praying for your comfort and strength during your time of sadness.

I have so many good memories with Jerry & the Dugas family. I’m still in shock that he’s no longer with us. He taught me so much as my very first pharmacy preceptor, not only about pharmacy but about life. There’s not enough wonderful words in the English language to describe Jerry. And, Jerry, I hope God doesn’t have you working in a pharmacy in Heaven. 😉We always joked that that would be our luck. God speed my great friend. My love & prayers to all of the Dugas family.
