

He enjoyed fishing, playing pool and winning pool tournaments. He was a collector of many things, especially coins. He was a devoted Catholic and loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Cedotal Bordelon; two sons, John Jr. (Kelsey) and Nicholas Cedotal; sister, Adele Simoneaux; granddaughter, Kenzie Bordelon; and his niece, Susie Simoneaux.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Zelta and Leslie Cedotal Sr.; brother, Leslie Jr.; brother-in-law, Rickey Simoneaux; and nephew, Cliff Ordoyne Jr.
The family would like to thank the ICU staff at Ochsner Medical Center on O'Neil Lane in Baton Rouge for their care and compassion.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026 from 9:30 am until the funeral rite for 11:00 am at Ourso Funeral Home in White Castle. Burial to follow at Grace Memorial Park Cemetery in Plaquemine.
