Dear Bobbie, Debbie and Judy there aren't enough words to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. Aunt Toddie was a special person. She always made us feel so welcome whenever we came to visit. Your whole family made my high school summers so memorable. I still think of them when i eat peanut butter and crackers! LOL. I know Aunt Tot and Aunt Eula are dancing up in heaven. God give yall peace knowing she is not in pain. God bless yall. I am so sorry I could not be there.

Bobbie,Debbie,Judy. You know there are no words to express the way I feel about your loss. I know she lived a good life; but there was so much more to Toddie. Her house was the place to be when family came in to visit or celebrate a Holiday. She was Christmas. I remember that Bayou Goula could not wait to go to Toddies, to celebrate a little more, eat a little more and to play cards. She was the last of the Anastasio clan. What a loss, what a loss.

Judy, Bobbie, Debbie and families.  I was so very sorry to hear about this. I have many, many childhood memories that I will cherish forever.   It's hard to believe this little woman is gone. It was a privilege to know such a nice lady. Her and Mr George were part of the glue that made White Castle so great during our young years.

I thoroughly enjoyed and treasure every visit I had with Toddie- from playing cards at the family home, to visiting with her at Judy's and hearing her share beautiful memories of her childhood playing basketball, being courted by Mr. George and of course hearing her sing 'Basin Street Blues.' 
May GOD'S perpetual light shine upon her.

Bobbie, Debbie, and Judy, I am so sorry to hear about my sweet friend, Ms. Toddie. I have so many memories of her! I would never have known that the twist tie color on the bread could tell you how fresh it was if it wasn't for her! Every time we met up at the grocery store it was long, fun conversation. She always had a little story to tell about my mom and dad, and so many other wonderful memories. The best compliment Shane ever gave me was that my meatballs tasted like hers! This tiny but feisty little lady touched the hearts of many people. She was extremely funny, kind and had a heart of gold. She will be missed by all who knew her. Rest in peace Ms. Toddie.

Bobbie, I enjoyed visiting with you at Cal's funeral - and especially chatting and reminiscing about your Mom.  She always had a smile and a kind word for everyone, and reminded me so much of Uncle Sam. She took a piece of our hearts with her, so we're sad. But, now I will picture her - smiling from ear to ear - as she saw Jesus' face and was welcomed by Uncle George, Georgie, Dennis, her parents and ALL her loved ones in Heaven!
