Kathleen "Kat" (Arcement) Hymel

She is survived her two daughters, Shelly (Doug) Gautreaux and Sally (Phil) Hebert; four grandchildren, Jill (Craig) Rodrigue, Jason (Chantel) Hebert, Jess (Kathryn) Hebert and Josh (Jacqueline) Gautreaux; nine great-grandchildren, Conner and Luke Rodrigue, Jackson and Emilia Hebert, William and Henry Hebert, Liam, Gracie and Sadie Gautreaux; along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, Earl "Dut" Hymel; parents, Octave Arcement and Celine Boudreaux Arcement; stepmother, Annette Thibodeaux Arcement; siblings, Irene Dazee, Rosalie Thibodeaux, Lorraine Angeron and Francis Arcement.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards, dancing, yardwork, doing jigsaw puzzles, and she loved animals but especially chihuahuas.

The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Green, the staff of Chateau D'ville, Cardinal Hospice and Ourso Funeral Home for their care and compassion.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025 from 9:30 am until 11:30 am at Ourso Funeral Home in White Castle. Interment to follow at White Castle Mausoleum.
