

“Fly away little bird your sins are forgiven”. Buck left his loving family on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at the age of 89, at the Southeast War Veterans Home in Reserve, LA. He was born on Christmas Day, 1921 in Paincourtville, LA. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in WWII in Europe. Buck was a retired mechanic for Iberville Parish. Married for 42 years to Lorraine Adams. He was a member of the American Legion Post 212, Westside Honor Guard, and White Castle Fire Department. He was also a church usher at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. Buck is survived by two step daughters Kaaren Oufnac Dugas and husband Larry, Nancy Oufnac Hebert and husband Charles; four grandchildren Aimee Dugas Walker and husband Robby, Ashley Dugas Sagona and husband Joe, Matthew Hebert, and Eric Hebert; three great grandchildren Bailey Walker, Taylor Noel Walker and Jake Sagona; and sister Inell Suarez Guillot.
He was preceded in death by his wife Lorraine Adams Suarez; parents Joseph and Anna Suarez; brother Philip Suarez; and two sisters JoAnna Stubblefield and Shirley Suarez.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in White Castle from 10:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m., celebrant Rev. Joey Angeles Interment to follow in church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Hebert, Eric Hebert, Zane Doiron, Philip Suarez, David Maxwell, Bill Maxwell, and Warren Dupre.
