Stella Coates Martinez

She was hostess for Ourso Funeral Home for 40 plus years and was a member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church.

Visitation will be Wednesday April 2, 2014, 12:00 noon until Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, White Castle, with Rev. Paul Yi, celebrant. Entombment will be in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Mausoleum under the direction of Ourso Funeral Home, White Castle.

Survivors include 3 daughters; Jo Ann Finn, Bonnie Giambrone and husband Larry, and Faye Perera and husband Mike,9 grandchildren; Elliot Dubreuil, Clark Dubreuil, Carlyn Sieck, Mike Dubreuil, Mignon Gery, Deborah Daigle, Donna Tennyson, Ashley Gaudet, and Taylor Sullivan. 15 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Mike Perera, Larry Giambrone, Alton Daigle, Taylor Sullivan, Lionel Gaudet, and Jesse Grissett.

She was preceded in death by her parents Martin and Mae Coates, her husbands Paul Marinez, Jr. and Joseph Benny Rivet, 2 brothers; Elmer and Jessie Willard Coates, and a sister Virginia Ballard.

The family would like to thank the staff of Chateau D’Ville, and Hospice Compassus for their care of our Mother, and Ourso Funeral Home for their service.
