

A lifelong resident of White Castle, she passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at the age of 89. Thelma loved to bowl and won lots of trophies. She also loved playing softball, dancing and cooking. Thelma enjoyed singing and used to sing in a band. She was also a great storyteller. She is survived by her son, Roland P. LeGleux and his partner Brenda Wise; a daughter and son-in-law, Brenda LeGleux and Fred Hippchen; sister, Sweetie Daigle Brown; brothers, Alvin Daigle, Roy Daigle, Herman Daigle, Larry Daigle; grandchildren and their spouses, Tanya Supple and Brent Dupuy, Brad Supple and Hope Sorenson, Cindy LeGleux and Bubba Campbell, Dodie LeGleux and Chris Jones, Michael LeGleux; great grandchildren, Brannon Hergruder, Alyssa Hergruder, Tristen Jones, Landon Jones, Nathan Jones, Ryan Supple, and Michael Supple. Preceded in death by her husband, Edward “Eddie” J. LeGleux; son, Michael “Mickey” LeGleux; parents, Felix Daigle and Marie Landry Daigle; sisters, Vivian Daigle Gomez, Mabel Daigle Templet; brothers, Leonard Daigle and Tut Daigle. There will be a visitation at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in White Castle Friday, June 14, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Joey Angeles, celebrant. Entombment will be in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Association and to the American Heart Association.
