Allan R. Zeek

Allan R. Zeek, 80, of Whiting, New Jersey, passed away peacefully, on Sunday, June 7, 2020. Allan was born in Boonton, New Jersey on July 3, 1939 to Florence and Warren Zeek. He was a graduate of the Boonton High School - Class of 1957. For thirty-five years, he was the Owner/Operator of Allan Zeek and Sons Landscaping. Allan had many hobbies, including darts, bocce, bowling, painting, jigsaw puzzles and Bingo. He was an enthusiastic member of both The Crestwood III Dart League and Bocce Club. He won many trophies in both. He joined The Roman Catholic Church in 1970. His favorite Psalm was Psalm 23.

Allan was a devoted Husband, Father and Grandfather, and will be remembered for his Love of Family.

Allan is predeceased by his son, James Allan, in 2000. Allan is survived by his wife of 59 years, Phyllis, his sons Todd A. and wife Linda, whom has been part of our family since 1979, and Loved like a daughter, of Jackson, New Jersey, Glenn A. and Kathy, Ephrata, Pennsylvania and Kurt A. and wife, Gina, also of Jackson, New Jersey. He will always be Loved and remembered by his Sister-in-Law, Joanie Sweeney, Northborough, Massachusetts, who was like a sister to him, his brother-in-law, Luis Matucha, deceased, Pennsylvania, his brother Eugene Zeek, Florida and his sister Martha (Zeek) Garrett, Booton, New Jersey, as well as five grandchildren, Walter Joshua, Zoë, Liam and Rebecca and three Great Grandchildren, Jeffrey Sara and Erika; and several Nieces and Nephews that were very special to him. He also had some very close friends that will miss him dearly.
