Angelo P Perna Jr.

Angelo P. Perna, Jr., 61, passed away on Monday, Dec. 26, 2011 at his residence. Angelo was born in Elizabeth, NJ and resided in Bricktown, and Beachwood before moving to Whiting 6 years ago. Angelo was the owner of Cosmos Auto Body Shop, Bayville, NJ for 25 years. Angelo loved to golf, share a fine bottle of red amongst friends and tend to his vegetable garden and fig tree. He enjoyed cooking and coming up with different recipes for his family. For his wife, Joyce, he even participated in the community shuffleboard league.

Angelo is predeceased by his parents, Angelo, Sr. and Carmela Perna. Angelo is survived by his loving wife, of 43 years, Joyce R. Perna of Whiting; daughters, Tonya Lunger and her husband Tommy Jr., of Franklin Twp., Jennifer McLaughlin and her husband Brett of VA.; four grandchildren, Thomas, Jacob, Molly, Sebastian, and one expected grandchild in June. Also surviving are his four brothers: Andy, Bill, Jack and Larry.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 29th from 4-6pm at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Rd. Funeral Services will begin at 6pm. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you kindly take the time to do something special with your loved ones.
