It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Cheryl Conklin, devoted wife, cherished mother, and beloved Nonna, who left this world at the age of 64. Cheryl was born in Passaic, NJ and lived in Whiting, NJ.
She was the heart of our family—a constant source of warmth, strength, and unconditional love. As a wife, she was a true partner, sharing a lifetime of memories, laughter, and unwavering support with her husband of 44 years Alan Leslie Conklin.
As a mother, she guided with kindness, patience, and wisdom, always putting her children before herself and shaping their lives with her gentle spirit.
Her greatest joy was being a Nonna. She adored her grandchildren beyond measure, filling their lives with hugs, stories, traditions, and a sense of belonging that will remain with them forever. Her home was always open, her kitchen always full, and her love always abundant.
She will be remembered for her generous heart, her resilience, and the way she made everyone feel like family. Whether through a comforting word, a shared meal, or a simple smile, she had a gift for bringing people together.
Though her absence leaves a space that can never be filled, her legacy lives on in the love she gave and the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Cheryl was predeceased by her parents Harry T. Ogg and Dolores Ogg.
She is survived by her loving husband Alan, her children Michael (his wife Kristeena) and Joseph (his wife Bianca), and her treasured grandchildren Brooke, Ameelia and Declan. She is also survived by her siblings, Carolyn Ogg-Scibetti, Joseph Ogg, and Brian Ogg, along with extended family and dear friends.
May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love she so freely gave in life.
