Cono Arenella, 89, passed away on June 1st at the Community Medical Center – Toms River, NJ. Mr. Arenella was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He resided in Long Island and Florida before moving to Whiting, NJ in 1994. He was employed for 31 years by the New York City Transit Authority, as a foreman and retired in 1975. Mr. Arenella proudly served his country in the Army during World War II, where he served as a guard at the Panama Canal. He survived by his wife Dorothy Arenella of Whiting, a son Robert of Mahopac, NY, a daughter Linda of Melbourne, Australia, and 2 grandchildren Caroline and Jonathan.
