Deborah Elizabeth Ashford, aged 69, died of natural causes at her home February 2. She is predeceased by her parents, George and Audrey Ashford. She is survived by, her dog Tiny, brothers David and George Ashford, sister Cathy Sheldrick, and their families.
Deborah was born in Southington, Ct.. As a child her family moved to Union Beach, NJ where she attended grammar school and later Keyport High School. Her family moved to Hazlet, NJ where she graduated from Raritan High School. She worked for NJ Bell, AT&T, Lucent, and Avaya where she retired. She later moved to Amsterdam NY. She moved to Whiting, NJ in April 2020 to be near her family.
Deborah will be cremated and later interred with her parents at Shore Land Cemetery in Hazlet. The date to be announced.
