Dolores Marie Mace, 89, of the Whiting section of Manchester Twp., passed away peacefully Monday, October 14, 2019 at home surrounded by family.

She worked in Retail Logistical Transport for the Macy Corporation over 23 years, retiring in 2008. Dolores loved music and playing the organ and had a deep love for animals. She loved her family above all else. Born in Philadelphia, she resided in Perth Amboy most of her life coming to Whiting 5 years ago.

She is predeceased by her late husband Robert in 2004. Surviving are her children, Robert & Christopher Mace and her daughter Virginia Bird. Dolores also leaves 6 grandchildren - Rachel, Priscilla, Briana, Shayne, Lucas, & Isabella.

Friends may call on Friday, October 18th., from 10-11am at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Rd. Whiting 08759. A Blessing will be officiated at 11am. Entombment will follow at the St. James Cemetery, US Hwy 9, Woodbridge 07095. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully request donations to the Pop Corn Park Zoo, 1 Humane Way Forked River, NJ 08731
