Donald R. Brittain

Reverend Donald R. (Ross) Brittain, 85, has passed away on February 18th at his home in Whiting, NJ. Born and raised in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Ross resided in Colts Neck, NJ and Lakeville, PA before moving to Whiting, NJ in 2009. He was a Pastor ministering in Canada, PA, NJ and NY.

Ross is survived by his wife of 60 years, Doris; his children Diane Mahady (Paul) of Spring Lake, NJ; Rebecca Brittain of Caranavi, Bolivia; Donald Brittain Jr. (Karri) of Fredricksburg, VA and their three children, Karli, Kimberly, Katie; and Jeffery Brittain (Ruth) of Chester, PA and their five children, Netanya, Jesse, Evelyn, Priscilla and Daniel. He is also survived by his sisters, Margaret Campbell of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada; Enid Langielle of Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada; Barbara Tutty of Hunts Point, Nova Scotia, Canada; and Elizabeth Smith of Windsor, Nova Scotia, Canada. Ross was predeceased by his oldest daughter, Beth Brittain in 1975.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am on Wed. February 23, 2011, at the Whiting Bible Church, 95 Lacey Road, Whiting, NJ 08759. In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to the Cup of Cold Water Ministries, PO Box 318, Newark, Illinois 60541, designated for the Life and Truth School Bolivia.
