Emma F. Miles Poland

Emma F. Poland "Mickey", 94, died Sunday May 20, 2012 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. She was 94.

Born in Germany, she lived in New Milford before moving to Whiting 43 years ago.

Prior to retiring, she was a hairdresser for Julian Beauty Salon in New York City.

Emma was predeceased by her first husband, George T. Tewes in 1977 and by her second husband, Walter Poland in 2007.

Surviving are a niece, Dorothy Nestman and her husband Robert of Old Tappan, NJ; a nephew George Woodason and his wife Amy of Rosedale, IN. and many nieces and nephews and many friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Crestwood Manor Nursing Home 50 Lacey Road, Whiting, NJ. Interment of cremains will follow at Whiting Memorial Park, Whiting.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital would be appreciated
