Esther Fisher

Esther L. Fisher, 89, of the Whiting section of Manchester Twp., passed away peacefully on, Tuesday, October 17, 2023, surrounded by family. She was a school teacher at Central Regional High School, Bayville for over 30 years, retiring in 2002. Esther was a Charter Member of the East Dover Baptist Church as well as the Living Word Baptist Church, both in Toms River. She was extremely involved in Church Administration on the Local, State and National levels of which she was very proud. Born in Chicago she resided in Toms River most of her life before coming to Whiting 4 years ago.

Esther is survived by her children, John & his wife Jennifer, & Ruth Stoddard & her husband Kevin. Esther is survived by her grandchildren Anne Fisher Bohli & her husband James, Brian Fisher & his wife Rebecca, Christina Hollwarth & her husband Kyle, Jaime Rinehart & her husband Slade, and Kylene Stoddard. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Emma, Luke, Josh, Julia, Russell, Randall, Judson, Allyson, Ben, Vivienne, and Rosalyn.

Visitation will be Saturday, Oct. 21 from 2-4pm with services beginning at 4pm. Committal will be private.
