OBITUARY
Geraldine Mary Bruno
March 17, 1932 – March 16, 2021
Geraldine Mary Bruno, 88, of the Whiting section of Manchester Twp., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 16 at home surrounded by family. She was an operator at Bristol Myers Squibb in New Brunswick for over 21 years, retiring in 1998. She was very active in Village VII. She volunteered for the Crochet Association, making blankets and such for those less fortunate. Geraldine was a member of the Women’s Club and was a parishioner at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton RC Church in Whiting. Born in Union, NJ she lived in Newark, Spotswood, Sayreville and Freehold coming to Whiting in 2006. Geraldine is survived by her loving husband Joseph of 67 years. They have 4 children, Karen Kierst & her husband George, Kathleen Bruno, Joseph Bruno, Jr. and Michael Bruno. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren: Jessica, Nicholas, Cameron, Audrey, John, Kelly, Lucas, and Joseph III; and her great grandchildren Brody and Len. Friends may gather from 10am to 12pm at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Rd. Whiting, 08759. Interment will immediately follow to the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request considering a donation to the American Cancer Society

Karen, I don't think I met your mom. My loss. It appears she had a good life. Raised a beautiful family. Kept her man for 67 years! (No easy feat) She particapted in her community and enjoyed each day. I hope your memories of her give you solace, comfort, a smile, and happy tears. R.I.P Mrs. Bruno.
