Harry H. Richter of Whiting passed away at the age of 96 on October 12, 2017 at the Veteran's Memorial Home in Paramus, NJ. He was originally from Guttenberg and formerly lived in Ridgefield Park and Forked River, NJ before moving to Whiting. Harry was a Navy veteran of WWII.
He was predeceased by his wife of 67 years, Helen (nee) Worden. He is survived by two sons, Harry Jr. of Lincolnville, So. Carolina and Richard of Ringwood, NJ, also by four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Road, Whiting, NJ on Thursday, November 9, 2017 starting at 10am. A memorial service will be held at 11am. A military service will be given at the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery at 12:30pm.
