Helen E. Guy

Helen E. Guy passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 surrounded by family at St. Joseph's Nursing Home in Lawrence Twp., New Jersey at the age of 102. Born in South River, N.J., Helen lived in Linden before moving to Crestwood Village in Whiting in 1969 and has lived in Lawrence Twp. for the past seven years.

She was predeceased by her husband George in 1989 and her brother and sister, Joseph Martin and Ann Reichhardt. Helen was the matriarch of a loving family and will be deeply missed. She was beloved by all for her indomitable spirit, her sense of humor and her unconditional love for all. The family wishes to extend its heartfelt thanks to the staff at the St. Joseph's nursing facility for their dedicated and loving care. Surving are Helen's two sons, George L. Guy, Jr., currenty residing in Hungary and Ronald J. Guy of Chesterfield, N.J. and her two daughters, Marilyn E. Dill of North Plainfield, New Jersey and Marcia Orenstein of San Diego, California. Helen is also survived by nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Visitation will be held at the Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Road, Whiting, New Jersey on Saturday, April 6, 2013 from 9:30-10:30 a.m with a funeral service to follow.
