Iris Diana Cooper

Born in Trenton, on 12/08/1927, she was the daughter of the late Maria (Scolaro) and Amedeo Micheli. She was raised in the Chambersburg section of Trenton, and later lived for many years in Philadelphia, PA before moving to Whiting 15 years ago.

Iris was an artist and painting enthusiast who was a member of the local artists guild in Whiting, NJ. A devoted Christian, Iris was a member of the Calvary Chapel of Berkeley.

Wife of the late John Cooper, she is survived by their children, Leonora Estrela, Kathleen Fitzpatrick-Staiano and her husband Frank, Marta Cable and her husband Russell, Janine Dougherty and her husband Chuck, Kenneth Cooper and his wife Donna, and Honor Weber; 12 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.

Her funeral services will be private and she will be laid to rest alongside her late husband in the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle NJ Veterans Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Calvary Chapel of Berkeley, 340 Route 9, Bayville, NJ 08721.
