Janet Walker

Janet was a graduate of William Patterson University. She was a teacher of special education then worked as a social worker for a state school then became a case manager for the Division of Developmental disabilities (DDD).

Janet loved to travel and listened to big band music she also liked taking day trips to AC with the village groups.

She was predeceased by her brother Edwin Duckworth and by her son Phillip Walker. She is survived by her son, Allen Walker of Marathon, Fl; her two daughters, Jacquelyn Walker of Whiting and Nancy Walker-DiGennaro and Husband John of Whiting. 2 Grandchildren, Melissa Jane Novak and Michael Gonzalez and one Great-Grandson Brandon C. Haid.

Visitation will be held on Friday March 3rd From 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Road, Whiting, NJ 08759.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Janet’s memory to the Special Olympics and or Popcorn Zoo Lacey Township.
