A Life Well-Lived

It is with deep love and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, aunt, and friend, Joan Kruegel, who was welcomed home by our Lord in Heaven on July 28 at the age of 77.

Joan was a great source of warmth and kindness. To her family, she was so much than an aunt—she was a confidante, a cheerleader, and a light to everyone around her. Whether she was sending you a birthday card, hosting neighborhood picnics or BBQs, or baking something for the church, she lived her life with generosity and love.

Her Legacy & Joy

Throughout her life, Joan found immense joy in the simple, beautiful things:

● Watching the birds enjoy her bird feeders.

● Trying out the newest gadgets.

● Shopping for the perfect gifts.

● Traveling with friends and family.

Family meant everything to her. She cared deeply, offered her quiet attention when it was needed most, and left a beautiful, indelible mark on every heart she touched.

Service Details

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Joan’s life and honor her memory.

● Celebration of Life: August 22 at 2:00pm at The Community Reformed Church in Whiting, NJ
