Kevin Sloan

Kevin Sloan, 54, of lnman, SC, formerly of Whiting, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 17, 2026 at home. Kevin was born & raised in Whiting and moved to South Carolina in 2020. A graduate from Manchester Twp. High School, Kevin worked as an auto mechanic at a few different places while also working with the NJ Forest Fire Service before settling down at Ralph Clayton & Sons as a Truck Driver and Sand Plant Manager.

Kevin was a life member of the Whiting Volunteer Fire Co. where he was the Engineer, Captain, Assistant Chief and Chief. He also volunteered for the Whiting First Aid Squad.

Kevin loved his Chow Chows and was an avid fan of NASCAR, Dale Earnhardt #3 and Kevin Harvick #29, and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He is survived by his loving wife Michelle Sloan; his mother Lorraine “Chickie" Sloan of Whiting; his three brothers, Dave Littleford and his wife, Maryann, Jimmy Littleford and Butch Sloan and his wife Christine; sister-in-law, Olivia Coppola and her husband Joe, brother-in-law, Shawn Farrington and his wife Julie; and many nieces & nephews and great nephews. He is also survived by many cousins and close friends. Kevin will be dearly missed by all.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Road, Whiting, NJ followed by a Firefighter Service and Procession beginning at 12:30 PM at the funeral home. A Committal Service will follow at Old Whiting Cemetery, County Road 530 and Aster Place in Whiting, NJ.
