Mabel Amadori, 95, of Burlington, NJ, passed away on Thursday April 4, 2013, at the Masonic Home in Burlington, NJ. Born in Hoboken, grew up in Jersey City, lived in Harrington Park and Clermont before moving to Whiting in 1987. Mabel lived in Burlington for the past eight years. She worked as a sleeve setter for many years in Union City, NJ and was former past president and member of the Harrington Park Volunteer Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary.
Mabel was predeceased by her husband Aldo “Skip” in 1985, her parents Santo and Amelia Zuccato, and her four brothers; Lorenzo, Jordan, Albin and John. She is survived by her devoted sister Clara Bruckner of Whiting, NJ, and her by loving nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 10, 2013, at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Road, Whiting, NJ 08759, from 9-11 am, with a service to follow. Interment will be in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mabel’s memory to the Masonic Charity Foundation, 902 Jacksonville Road, Burlington, NJ 08016.
