Mary Faulkner

Mary Faulkner, 83, of the Whiting section of Manchester Twp., passed away peacefully on Monday, December 9, 2013 at Southern Ocean County Hospital, Manahawkin, surrounded by family. She was self-employed as owner of Anchor Limousine in Barnegat for several years. Born in Hackensack, she resided in Ridgefield Park for many years, where she was a Ridgefield High School graduate of the class of 1948, moving to Waretown and retiring to Whiting in 2005. She was a member of the Cedar Glen Lakes Garden Club. Mary is predeceased by her husband, the late John Faulkner of 58 years in 2009 and a brother, the late William Stewart. Surviving are her children, a daughter Joann Faulkner-Tomasko & her husband Dennis of Windsor, S.C., daughter Jacqueline Faulkner – Stone & her husband Glenn of Barnegat, a son Joseph Carl Faulkner & his wife Sharon of Woodlands, TX and a daughter Janine Faulkner of Haddonfield, and a sister Joan Stewart. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Josephine, Kyle, Jamie, Samantha, Victoria & Gianna. Mary is also survived by her great grandchildren, Jessica, Jake, & Jonathan.

Friends may call on Saturday, from 10am – 12pm at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Rd. Whiting, NJ 08759. A Celebration of Mary’s life will be at 12pm from the funeral home. Entombment will follow at the Whiting Memorial Park.
