Patricia L Johnson

During her many decades in Whiting, Pat was the owner and operator of H&R Block in Whiting, NJ. She was a member of the Lion’s Club, Board of C.A.R.E.S, Board of Manchester Coordinating Council and was also a representative of the Lions of the WBA (Whiting Business Association). She enjoyed traveling both with her friends and solo to points across the United States and abroad. An occasional bus trip to Atlantic City to enjoy the slots was not out of the question either. Since the New York Mets first hapless season in 1962 to their two World Series championships, Pat was always a committed fan.

Patricia is predeceased by her husband, Charles Richard Johnson in 1994; her son Robert William Johnson; her sister, Jane Meisle; and her brother Robert Kelley;

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Sarah Gwen Johnson of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and Susan Lynn Rosenthal of Shelton, CT, as well as their spouses and her granddaughter, Tamara Rosenthal. She is also survived by 2 brothers, Richard and Gerald Kelley; and several nieces & nephews as well as good friends.

Cremation will be private. Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Rd. Whiting, NJ is in charge of the funeral arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Somebody Cares, Inc of Whiting in her memory.
