Patricia A. Wright

Patricia A. Wright, 65, of Whiting, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 17, 2026. Born on July 23, 1960, Patricia lived a life full of love, strength, laughter, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends.

Patricia was truly unforgettable — loving, caring, feisty, and full of life. She had a beautiful way of making everyone feel welcome and cared for, whether through a heartfelt phone call, a warm meal, or simply her presence. No matter what challenges life placed before her, she never stopped fighting and always continued to show up for the people she loved most.

She found joy in the simple things that made life colorful: riding on a Harley-Davidson, dancing to Madonna, listening to The Eagles, watching Lifetime movies, crafting with friends, and wearing bright colors that perfectly matched her vibrant spirit. Patricia deeply loved cooking for her husband and children and built countless meaningful friendships throughout her life. Her kindness, strength, and support touched so many, and her memory will continue to live on in all who knew and loved her.

Patricia is survived by her beloved husband, William Wright; her son, Robert B. Duke; her daughter, Tamra Duke; her brothers, Harry Gordon Kirby III and John William Kirby; and her cherished furry grandson, Enzo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Gordon Kirby Jr. and Henrietta Evelyn Durham, as well as her beloved dog, Samantha.

A Gathering of Family & Friends will be held at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Road, Whiting, NJ 08759, on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., followed by a Prayer Service at 5:00 p.m.

Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing Patricia’s love, light, and spirit will remain with us always.
