Robert T. Farparan, Sr., 78, of the Whiting section of Manchester Twp., passed away Friday, March 20, 2015. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War and following was a Merchant Marine for a short while. He became a machinist with Reynolds Aluminum and later Merck Pharmaceuticals for 35 years, retiring in 2000. Born in Newark, he resided in Brick Twp., and in Deltona, FL., before relocating here a short time ago. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Joan (nee Lalley) Farparan, and his son Robert “Bob” Farparan and his wife Celeste of Whiting and 2 grandchildren, Ryan and William. He is also survived by a sister Isabelle Rowe of Florida and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Friday, March 27 from 4pm until services begin at 7pm at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Rd. Whiting, NJ 08759. Committal will be private.
