The only thing Shelly loved more than her weekly Mah Jong and Card games was her love for her family and friends.
Shelly is survived by two children, Alan Borden and Vicki Kimler and their respective spouses Cheryl Borden and John Kimler. Her four grandchildren were the love of her life, Justine Kimler, Jaclyn Borden, Nicole Kimler and Zachary Borden. She is also survived by her brother Richard Blecker and his wife Susan. She was also blessed with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Her many friends she made throughout her years all held a special place in her heart, along with all her friends from Cedar Glen Lakes, where she resided for the past 19 years.
Two celebrations of their lives and respects have been arranged for all those wanting to say farewell, until we see each other again. Thursday, January 5, at the home of Alan and Cheryl Borden, 755 Dianne Court, Rahway, NJ 07065 from 1pm-8pm and Saturday January 7, at her home located at 4A Vermont Way, Whiting, NJ 08759 (Cedar Glen Lakes) from 12pm-5pm. Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Rd. Whiting, NJ is in charge of the funeral arrangements. To post a tribute, please visit www.andersoncampbellwhiting.com.
